Josh Wannarka

Josh Wannarka joined Efficient Markets in June 2024, taking on a joint role as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. He has over 18 years of corporate finance experience in the energy industry. Josh began his career as an energy investment banking analyst with JP Morgan and RBC Capital Markets before working across the upstream and midstream industries with publicly traded, private equity-backed companies. Throughout his career, he has provided strategic oversight and leadership in corporate finance functions ranging from financial planning & analysis, capital market activity, strategic planning, investor relations, sustainability, and corporate communications.

Most recently, Josh was the Senior Vice President of Finance for Crestwood Midstream Partners, where he was actively involved in multiple financing transactions that included senior note offerings, common and preferred equity issuances, revolver credit facility management, and multiple M&A and divestitures. While at Crestwood, he was voted #1 Investor Relations Professional, Investor Relations Team, and Investor Relations Program by Institutional Investor Magazine's All-America Executive rankings for three consecutive years. He holds an undergraduate degree in economics and business administration from Fordham University and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
