We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. 3. Other Data Policies and Protections
3.1. Data Security.
We have implemented measures designed to secure your User Information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of the Website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Website like message boards. The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act obligates EnergyNet to provide the information contained in this Policy and the mechanism available to you to opt out of any retention or disclosure of nonpublic information. EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 requires that EnergyNet disclose the type of personal data processed and disclosed under this Policy. 3.5. Do Not Track Technology.
Some web browsers have a "Do Not Track" feature to transmit your preference not to have data about your online activities tracked. Currently, we do not respond to "Do Not Track" or similar signals, as there is no uniform standard for responding to such signals. YOU AGREE TO DEFEND, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS ENERGYNET AND ITS PARENTS, AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, FRANCHISEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, BUSINESS ASSOCIATES, AND SUPPLIERS (THE “ENERGYNET PARTIES”) FROM AND AGAINST ANY ACTUAL OR THREATENED CLAIMS, ACTIONS OR DEMANDS, LIABILITIES AND SETTLEMENTS (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, REASONABLE LEGAL AND ACCOUNTING FEES) RESULTING (OR ALLEGED TO RESULT) FROM YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE OR ANY OTHER ENERGYNET ONLINE SERVICE IN ANY MANNER THAT VIOLATES OR IS ALLEGED TO VIOLATE APPLICABLE LAW OR THESE TERMS. This provision does not require you to indemnify any of the EnergyNet Parties for any unconscionable commercial practice by such party or for such party’s fraud, deception, false promise, misrepresentation or concealment, suppression or omission of any material fact in connection with the EnergyNet online services.
5. Additional Provisions
5.1. Changes to Our Privacy Policy.
It is our policy to post any changes we make to our Privacy Policy on this page. The date the Policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable email address for you, and for periodically visiting our Website and this Policy to check for any changes. Your use of the Website after any amendments or changes to our Policy will be confirmation of your acceptance of those amendments or changes to this Policy.
5.2. Severability.
